Ruby Rose (RWBY)
2017
I created this costume for Rooster Teeth Expo 2017. The original purpose was to create a transforming Crescent Rose that had a balance between accurate and fast. I’d seen very accurate but very slow transformations, and I’d seen partial or inaccurate but very fast and impressive transformations, and I wanted something closer to the middle. It ended up working fairly well. Unfortunately it broke during the RTX Cosplay Contest, but I hope the repaired and upgraded version holds up well for Dallas AllCon.
